It's very early in the morning at the Temecula Wine and Balloon Festival. The early morning, while the air is still cool, is the bet time to fly hot air balloons. That moment when the balloons begin lifting off, many in unison us called the ascension. And this photo shows the beginning of the ascension.

After finishing win the studio, we headed for the beach only to find the coastal clouds had beaten us there. It shortened our shoot but we did get this one before the fog closed in.
